Long before the magical birthday of 21, you can get easily obtain alcohol & drugs, make babies, drive cars (traffic fatalities are much higher than firearms), smoke, eat junk food (epidemic) and engage in so many other life changing behaviors long before you can legally purchase a firearm in California. The see car ads long before they can drive, but it doesn’t mean they get a car when they are 8 years old.

Go read about and study the people that commit the crimes. There are signals and they are often ignored. The Gilroy guy committed several felonies even before he broke into the Garlic Festival. There was no add from Google or anyone else that convinced him to go on an ILLEGAL rampage. The VTA guy had book that had “people to kill” in it and was ignored by DHS.

– If you don’t want your children to have gun, then YOU need to educate them.
– Gun ads don’t mean anything, because you can’t buy one until your 21.
– Go look at the CDC data. Firearms are not even on the top 15 causes of death for under 18. Do the research prove me wrong.

So, what is your point?

Google’s top priority is profit. Number two priority is total world domination of information. They actually don’t believe in anything resembling objective truth. They are the corporate version of the Ministry of Truth but much more powerful and dangerous.

Their original motto was “Don’t be evil.” They quietly changed that a few years ago. I guess they didn’t need to hide behind false slogans any longer.

Except in some special circumstances in which an ad (any type or topic of ad) may be in poor taste or not appropriately match the main ‘program’ target audience. There should less of this ‘cancel’ culture whining about ads and constitutional rights that a segment of the population tries to deny citizens.

I would think more people would take offense with ads & visuals, targeting impressionable school children, pushing a narrative with intent on grooming and indoctrinating children to normalize a dysphoria that afflicts less than 1% of the population.

Even the SJI took the ‘safe’ route and used a stock photo of police car lights to accompany a story about Transgender “Drag Queen Story Hour” targeting children at public libraries and schools when protesters spoke up.

According to the Williams Institute: “About 0.7% of adults 18-24 identify as transgender, and
0.5% of adults 65 and older identify as transgender.” in the United States.
