SEIU trained and completely irresponsible – booze, teenagers, guns, and partying till after 1 am. Maybe next time have a bbq, some entertainment and socializing then send everyone home at nine? It seems strange that Dems are so anti-gun and at the same time so heavily armed.

Sarcasm aside, it is sad to see these young people killed and injured. My condolences to their families.

One final thought: Please stop— please, no reprisals. Stop the tribalism.

However the whole kids drinking pearl clutching seems to be a joke. I got drunk at my sisters wedding when I was 13 and its far better to experience alcohol (which is more ubiquitous than guns) for the first time around your family than the alternative. My family has been partying together for 100s of years and I fail to see how this is different.

Kids getting shot happens regularly on every weekend in large cities and is more a reflection of a deteriorating family culture than families having a party together.

I wish all the families peace in what will be very difficult days and months ahead.
