My daughter’s school still has kids running around outside in the heat, most of them, with their faces covered. They are doing this, not for public health reasons, but because of prolonged fear mongering and forced mandates. Many think it’s the “new normal.” My kid is one of the only kids at school without a mask on still – and the teachers, who should be leaders, push the mandate culture and pressure kids to follow.

Someone in this state must acknowledge the harm caused by Newsom and public health officers like Cody – and leaders at schools need to talk to kids about moving on from the mandates. The wide-spread PTSD in adults, and how it has trickled to kids is devastating.
