New York Gov. Kathy Hochul released data breaking down COVID-19 hospitalizations by those who were admitted due to the virus and those who were admitted for other reasons but were found to also have the Covid when tested at admittance.

According to the provided statistics, in approximately 43% of hospital admissions
“COVID was not included as one of the reasons for admission.”

“…the same data (showed) a Staggering 51% of COVID Hospitalizations in NYC were Not Due to COVID or related symptoms.
The numbers show that 3,060 patients were hospitalized for reasons other than COVID, while only 2,992 were admitted due to the illness.”

Data sets reported publicly are not fully clear on reporting admissions With COVID-19 rather than admissions Because of COVID-19.

Additionally, the total number of children hospitalized who also tested pos for Covid from Aug2020 thru Jan2022 is 81,923, the CDC states.

CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky told reporters that CDC data on pediatric Covid hospitalizations includes patients who were admitted to the hospital for a separate issue.

Even A. Fauci warned last week that the hospitalization spike in pediatric admissions was relatively mild and almost entirely correlative,
or in simpler terms, admissions With COVID-19 rather than admissions Because of COVID-19.

Case Counts and a large part of hospitalizations have less meaning with the Cold-Like Omicron…. as more people who have to get admitted to the hospital for other reasons have also been exposed to Omicron…especially since Omicron is 95% of all detected cases now.

…in many cases (almost 50%) correlated COVID diagnoses for hospitalizations are treating unrelated conditions requiring hospitalization.

Am I the only one in the world that questions the comical but potentially dangerous “double mask” idea? This is completely wrong on so many levels it is difficult to believe that anyone would suggest such an absurdly dangerous idea. First, masks are tested to standards and I know of no testing standard that calls out a test for using one certified mask with a second random uncertified mask. Second, we already have certified masks that are readily available depending upon what you are trying to accomplish. Using a second uncertified mask with a certified mask could potentially interfere with the seal of the certified mask or impair proper airflow of the certified mask. For a government agency to publish such dangerous recommendations is quite astonishing. Scary world we live in today where people who would make such recommendations are allowed to keep their jobs.
