Hoffman said he wanted to make Trump an “actual martyr.”

Reid Hoffman is a sizable donor to Sam Liccardo’s congressional campaign but Liccardo expressly refuses to disavow Hoffman or return his money. The clear implication is that Liccardo supports advocating politically-motivated murder if there is something in it for Liccardo.

That is the local angle here, San Jose Inside: a sociopath former mayor running for Congress.
