ESSJ it will depend on the area. I’m sure Suncrest area will not be affected, since this is where Mayors and politicians all live or retire. I fully expect to see anything between White Road and McLaughlin to be fully bulldozed and converted.

Politicians DGAF. They don’t have to. Their kids won’t have the stress we commoners have. Their kids will be chauffeured to their private schools. They will be accepted into any college. Some might actually be good at their jobs and earn their own way through the world. Some won’t. By the time they’re done being raised, they’ll be able to afford to live in one of these “historic” neighborhoods one way or another.

The best advice I can give you is get your kids into tech, or HR. These seem to be the only professions where telework is becoming the norm, and the barrier to entry isn’t too high. Tech can be self taught, HR there’s degrees for that.
