Another item that’s been VERY helpful is a thermal blanket (as seen on some survival shows). It’s silver & looks like a sheet of tinfoil, but it keeps you quite warm & protects you from the rain & other elements.
All of these items can be found on Amazon & are reasonably priced. ;-)

I do everything I possibly can for our homeless friends & I know this will have a huge impact on them. In fact, it might be the one thing that inspires & helps them get back on their feet. It’s disheartening, however, that the state didn’t come up with something similar & left it up to a brand new non-profit! I sincerely hope Governor Newsom gets behind this project & funds them accordingly.

Thank you, Alekz and Jay, for your heartfelt contributions toward a solution for our fellow Americans who are struggling without life-saving shelters & for providing them with hope for a brighter tomorrow!
God bless you both!

They learn skills, do something to help their communities, get school credit and can feel good about their contribution and get homeless off the streets?
