This was okay. She has been an operative for a long time in California before she joined Emily’s List — she is president so naturally she’s in a tony DC Maryland suburb. Even the Republicans like Bethesda or say, Chevy Chase, Potomac, rather than go over to Virginia. The other thing is that Newsom did the right thing in not picking any of the official candidates.
